About The Role

TM Landscaping is seeking a skilled, hands-on Fleet Mechanic to join our growing team and help keep our trucks and equipment running strong. We rely on our fleet daily to deliver the high-quality, all-season service our clients have come to expect and you will play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, taking pride in their work, and thrives in a role where independence and attention to detail are valued You will have the tools, support, and flexibility you need to succeed - We will provide all tools, lifts, welding tools, diagnostics, etc. needed for you to be successful.

Job Duties

  • Diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles, trailers, and specialized landscape equipment

  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance

  • Responding to equipment breakdowns—including in-field repairs when needed

  • Maintaining equipment such as tractors, small engines, aerators, spreaders, and loaders

  • Managing and maintaining a clean, organized workspace and parts inventory

  • Documenting all repairs and maintenance in our tracking system

  • Coordinating with outside vendors for outsourced maintenance, as needed

  • Supporting the team to keep operations efficient, safe, and on schedule

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, truck, or fleet maintenance

  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills with both vehicles and small equipment

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of fleet care

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • A commitment to safety, detail, and doing the job right

  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
