About The Role

We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented individuals to join our gardening team. Whether you are just starting or have experience leading crews, there is room to grow here.

As a fine gardener, you will work on beautiful properties caring for gardens and shrubs, maintaining beds, planting projects, monitoring plant care, and supporting seasonal garden care. If you are interested, there are opportunities to take on more responsibilities, like a leadership role, connect directly with clients, and assist in designing and enhancing planting areas.

Job Duties

  • Garden Bed Maintenance; deadheading, dividing, weeding, edging, fertilizing

  • Pruning; shaping and maintaining plant structure of shrubs and small trees

  • Plantings; new installations, annual planting projects, and transplantings

  • Assist with General Landscaping on Fine Gardening properties; cleanups, mulching

  • Plant Care: Inspect, monitor, identify & treat plant health issues

  • Container design and installation

  • Maintain and care properly for tools and equipment

  • Maintain complete & accurate job sheets & job notes

  • Promote new landscape enhancements to our customers that will improve their property


Qualifications & Experience

  • Horticultural knowledge (through experience, education, or certification)

  • Passion for gardening and working outside

  • Able to identify weeds and invasive plants

  • Familiar with pests and diseases of common landscape plants

  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

  • An ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds regularly

  • A valid driver's license

  • Professional, personable, and team-oriented

  • Fluent in English (Spanish too, a bonus!)
